Privacy policy
This site does not have accounts, comment forms or sign-ups, and we do not ask you for personal information.
What is collected
Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as your IP address, the page requested and your browser type) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use these logs to identify you.
Some guides have a tick-box checklist. Your ticks are saved in your own browser's local storage so they are still there when you return. They stay on your device and are not sent to us.
Cookies, analytics and ads
At the time of writing we do not run analytics or show advertising. If that changes, for example if we add Google Analytics or Google AdSense, we will update this page before the change goes live and explain what those services collect.
Links to other sites
Our guides may link to other websites, such as government sites. We do not control their content or privacy practices.
Changes
If we change this policy, the date above will change.
